Blog EntryMy Birthday Treat!!!Nov 17, '08 12:11 PM
for everyone

Just came back from my HK trip lately. I considered this trip as my birthday gift for myself this year. Still the same... went around shopping and eating again. Been to some of the places again which i went during my last trip to HK but 3 new places that included the Snoopy's World, Lan Kwai Fong and the newest shopping mall named "MegaBox" but this time round the most rewarding was i found lots of toy shops around MK and bought lots of Mario toys  so my collections had increased now. Happened to see some TVB stars filming at a cafe near Avenue of Stars and this was the 1st time i get to see HK stars in HK.

Didn't inform anyone that i'm going for this trip but had met up some of my frds there coz this trip is just for myself  The weather was quite cooling this time round and also this time i'm staying in other hotel named Panaroma near TST instead Kimberley which i stayed twice during my last 2 trip. The hotel opened on march and the hotel room was very nice which i will intro to any of my frd if they are intending to go to HK. Will plan for my next HK trip again soon... Hmmm..... err..... now just have to save and save for the next trip  Here's some pics to share with u guys

Went to Hongkong recently and got a big reward on super mario stuffs in 1 of the mall around MK. Got these 2nd series of the mini super mario figures at just $43.60 excluding 1 of the secret figure but anyway still worth it right. Actually had found it in some stalls and shops before i went to HK but they are selling at $85 and $100 per set, so ex right... think they really try to rised up the price till so damn high. Think i can still able to find the optional secret figure in sg but maybe in a higher price but should be cheaper than the shops/stalls selling in a set. Here's the 2nd series of the mini super mario figures which i bought in HK and some other mario stuffs

Had been away to HK last wk from fri to tue (7-11-2008 to 11-11-2008) for a holiday treat and also a birthday treat for myself During this 5 days, do u know wat i had been doing??? hehe... i had been busy and crazy collecting those super mario badges from the convienence stores named Circle KIt was located all around HK. U can only get 1 badge with any $20 purchase spend in the store and you can't choose wat u want coz it was given by the staffs just like you don know wat design is it inside the small pack. There's a total of 21 designs and it was attach onto a cloth material type of hanger calendar for the purpose of the coming year 2009. Managed to get 15 out of 21 difference design during this 5 days. Still missed 6 other designs so if anyone who go to HK and happen to visit those store pls don throw it away the badges and give it to me ok if you don want it. Haha... Anyway the attach are wat i had been talking abt and the last pic of the advertisement poster with a black circle are those i still short of   (There are baby mario, baby peach, mega mushroom, lightning cloud, green shell and pow block)

Based upon Mark Millars explosive graphic novel series and helmed by stunning visualist director Timur Bekmambetovcreator of the most successful Russian film franchise in history, the Night Watch seriesWanted tells the tale of one apathetic nobodys transformation into an unparalleled enforcer of justice. In 2008, the world will be introduced to a hero for a new generation: Wesley Gibson. 25-year-old Wes (James McAvoy) was the most disaffected, cube-dwelling drone the planet had ever known. His boss chewed him out hourly, his girlfriend ignored him routinely and his life plodded on interminably. Everyone was certain this disengaged slacker would amount to nothing. There was little else for Wes to do but wile away the days and die in his slow, clock-punching rut. Until he met a woman named Fox (Angelina Jolie). After his estranged father is murdered, the deadly sexy Fox recruits Wes into the Fraternity, a secret society that trains Wes to avenge his dads death by unlocking his dormant powers. As she teaches him how to develop lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal agility, Wes discovers this team lives by an ancient, unbreakable code: carry out the death orders given by fate itself. With wickedly brilliant tutorsincluding the Fraternitys enigmatic leader, Sloan (Morgan Freeman)Wes grows to enjoy all the strength he ever wanted. But, slowly, he begins to realize there is more to his dangerous associates than meets the eye. There are heroes, there are superheroes, and then there’s Hancock (Will Smith). With great power comes great responsibility - everyone knows that - everyone, that is, but Hancock. Edgy, conflicted, sarcastic, and misunderstood, Hancock’s well-intentioned heroics might get the job done and save countless lives, but always seem to leave jaw-dropping damage in their wake. The public has finally had enough - as grateful as they are to have their local hero, the good citizens of Los Angeles are wondering what they ever did to deserve this guy. Hancock isn’t the kind of man who cares what other people think - until the day that he saves the life of PR executive Ray Embrey and the sardonic superhero begins to realize that he may have a vulnerable side after all. Facing that will be Hancock’s greatest challenge yet - and a task that may prove impossible as Ray’s wife, Mary insists that he’s a lost cause.

The blockbuster global Mummy franchise takes a spellbinding turn as the action shifts to Asia for the next chapter in the adventure series, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Brendan Fraser returns as explorer Rick OConnell to combat the resurrected Han Emperor (Jet Li) in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China high into the frigid Himalayas. Rick is joined in this all-new adventure by son Alex (newcomer Luke Ford), wife Evelyn (Maria Bello) and her brother, Jonathan (John Hannah). And this time, the OConnells must stop a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service.

Doomed by a double-crossing sorceress (Michelle Yeoh) to spend eternity in suspended animation, Chinas ruthless Dragon Emperor and his 10,000 warriors have laid forgotten for eons, entombed in clay as a vast, silent terra cotta army. But when dashing adventurer Alex OConnell is tricked into awakening the ruler from eternal slumber, the reckless young archaeologist must seek the help of the only people who know more than he does about taking down the undead: his parents.

As the monarch roars back to life, our heroes find his quest for world domination has only intensified over the millennia. Striding the Far East with unimaginable supernatural powers, the Emperor Mummy will rouse his legion as an unstoppable, otherworldly force...unless the OConnells can stop him first. Now, in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, the trademark thrills and visually spectacular action of the Mummy series will be redefined for a new generation.

After an ancient truce existing between humankind and the invisible realm of the fantastic is broken, hell on Earth is ready to erupt. A ruthless leader who treads the world above and the one below defies his bloodline and awakens an unstoppable army of creatures. Now, it's up to the planet's toughest, roughest superhero to battle the merciless dictator and his marauders. He may be red. He may be horned. He may be misunderstood. But when you need the job done right, it's time to call in Hellboy (Ron Perlman).

Along with his expanding team in the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Development--pyrokinetic girlfriend Liz (Selma Blair), aquatic empath Abe (Doug Jones) and protoplasmic mystic Johann--the BPRD will travel between the surface strata and the unseen magical one, where creatures of fantasy become corporeal. And Hellboy, a creature of two worlds who's accepted by neither, must choose between the life he knows and an unknown destiny that beckons him.

Well..... think i won't be getting the ODM watch as it had been in the market for quite sometimes so i better get this latest adidas watch instead. Blog EntryTaiwan Mar 31, '08 2:49 AM
for everyone

Just back from my 8 days Taiwan trip last sat night. This is my 1st time there so quite exciting but too bad i fallen sick having diarrhoea before the day i went there. Had a hard time for the 1st few days coz can't really eat much coz once i eat i will feel like going to toilet and having stomachache. The weather there was quite cold in the morning and night. Stayed in 7 difference hotel throughout the whole trip. The most memory place which i stayed was the Flower Garden Hill Resort. The whole places are all builded by wood and the most scary things was it look like a haunted place during the night time and i can't really stand the smell of the wood inside the house but luckily just only 1 day or else i will cry for help. During the stay in flower garden hill resort, i had 2 first time, 1st is to putting off a fire works, i was so nervous and excited and it's fun but too bad we can't play such things in sg, 2nd is we got to learn how to make our own mochi, it's so fun, sticky, tough coz the wooden stick use to heat the mochi was so damn heavy. The most fun things and i enjoy it every trip when i went is shopping.... the man and ladies in taipei are all so gorgeous and well dress, so in fashion compared to sg. Like the night market shopping there coz it's so cheap and the things there are so new to me. Oh well...... think that's all i got to write la if not we become a grandfather blog liao. ha!!! The same old things i got to said is enjoy some nice pics below. hee!!!
